Really great experience at the service department.
Dear Chevy Of Wake Forest -- May God continue to shine His grace and mercy on the location, and bless the sales! On Saturday (09/12/2026), my new (used) Chevy Trax began to immobilize (anti-theft) because it began rejecting the key and it's interface. I called two places (including another Chevy location) prior to coming to ChevyWF for services, and at the time, I also was unable to understand what was happening to the car because this was my first time experiencing the program shut-down. When I arrived, Astrid assisted to the best of her ability. She did inform me that "the technician's schedules are booked solid but, she (they, being the rest of the team) will do all that they can". Unfortunately, no technicians could further assist me because they were booked solid. But, that didn't stop Astrid from trying. She came to my car and asked to see what was happening. I cranked my car (what I didn't know was going to be my last time) and showed her the symbol my Trax dash was displaying: half car, half lock. To better assist, I began researching (beyond Google) and reading my car manual to understand further. Eventually, the car did not cut on any further and Astrid finally stated that "there were no additional techs available". I cried a bit and then went back to my car to figure something out because I utterly refuse to take no for answer, especially when I know that there is a 50% chance of an idea that may work. Eventually, Elysicia? (E from this point forward) came out and asked what happening. Not know that my car's engine was completely locked out, I attempted to re-crank my car and it didn't. Elysicia and I began to brainstorm thumb through my manual because she was unfamiliar with my type of Trax. Astrid began helping other customers and preparing the close the counter. E and I began to brainstorm different ideas from bypass to hard resets, anything that didn't involve bothering the techs. Eventually, we turned to the key and began thinking that the engine/program was rejecting the key. So, she took the key to parts. E came back with the lady from parts (forgive me -- I forgot your name) and I began showing her what happened as well. Astrid came and was able to detail what she saw as well. The lady from parts said, "Hold on", and walked away. E walked with the rejected key and said, "Be right back". Astrid stayed and spoke with me further. When the lady from parts came back, she had the key, and E had a few pieces of paper. Come to find out, the lady from parts cleaned my key in the event that the car was rejecting it because it was dirty, and in the process, E was able to find a list of fixes in attempts to further assist. In the end, none of the fixes worked and it boiled down to me having the retrieve my spare key to bypass the immobile code. As my spare was en route, the ladies were in the process of clocking out. To comfort me (because they knew I was stressed and worried), they offered me chocolate and wished me well. In the end (and sure enough), my car started with the duplicate key. Ladies, thank you immensely from the top, bottom and full radius of my heart (aortic valve included). Though I was not seen by a technician, you three (plus the others) jumped right in to see what could be done in lieu of. I wholeheartedly trust this location of further assist as best as possible, and will never forget this very first interaction. I've never had a Chevy but trust that this location will go above-and-beyond for myself and new (used) vehicle. THANK YOU

Very nice staff and team that seemed to work well together. We stopped in to take a quick peek at some vehicles we had seen online and left with the car we wanted. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. No pushing and no shoving, just great and honest service. Thank you!
